When creating a term for a UK commercial or mixed type property, you must specify if the term is inside the Landlord & Tenant Act or not.
- If a term is outside the Landlord & Tenant Act, it can't be set to holding over, and rent and service charge invoices will not generate past the term expiry date.
- If a term is inside the Landlord & Tenant Act and is set to holding over, any rent and service charge invoices generated after the term expiry date will include "without prejudice" on the invoice PDF.
"Without Prejudice" will automatically display on Re-Leased invoice PDFs.
Xero and QuickBooks Online invoice PDFs can't be managed via Re-Leased and will need to be configured in their respective software.
The Tenancy Schedule report will display whether a term is inside the Landlord & Tenant Act or not.
