To edit the details of an Invoice, open the invoice and click on top-right 3 lines > Edit Invoice or click at bottom-right button Edit Invoice.
If an invoice isn't paid or credited yet and has not been reported on an owner statement, the Edit Invoice screen will be similar to the invoice shown below. A message will not be shown at the top and all fields are editable for a non-rent invoice.
A Rent Income Invoice's Related Property and Tenancy are not editable since these are mandatory fields for a rent invoice.
A message will be shown at the top of the screen to notify you if some details are no longer editable due to this invoice being reported on an owner statement. To make changes, you can void or credit note this invoice and create a new invoice using the top-right 3 lines > Copy Invoice option.
On the Edit Invoice screen, non-editable details will be greyed out. You may change the editable details and click Save at bottom-right.
Editing the Rent Period on a Rent Invoice
If you are editing the Rent period of a Rent Income Invoice, you must void the invoice and then click on top-right 3 lines > Ignore as Rent option (this is so the voided invoice is marked as non-rent and will not advance the paid to date).
You will then need to go into the Tenancy > Rent & Outgoings and click on Generate One-Off Rent Invoice option to re-raise a rent invoice for the required rent period.
