With our new Trust this device for 30 days functionality, all Re-Leased users can now reduce the frequency of 2FA authentication during the login process by opting to trust their device or browser for 30 days, ensuring a smoother login experience while maintaining security.
What is the trust this device for 30 days option?
The trust this device for 30 days option is a new Re-Leased functionality which tells your browser to remember that you have confirmed your identity using your 2FA device. If you select this option, you won’t have to use your 2FA device as often on that device or browser. For example, if you use it on your computer at work, it reduces how often you have to sign in with 2FA at work; but your laptop at home will still ask you to sign in with 2FA.
Why would I want to use it?
The trust this device for 30 days option saves you time and reduces distraction by reducing how often you have to use your 2FA device when signing into Re-Leased.
How can I activate it?
The trust this device for 30 days option is displayed on the 2-factor authentication token page, immediately after you have entered your Re-Leased login details. Simply tick Trust this device for 30 days box to activate it. After the 30 days have passed, on your next login, you will be prompted once again to provide a 2FA token.
The trust this device option is safe to use on computers and devices that you can trust to protect your browser.
