Re-Leased is designed to operate in conjunction with Dynamics Business Central accounting software.
If you decide to use Dynamics Business Central integration, your Re-Leased data will be integrated with the data in Dynamics Business Central and will be kept up to date with regular syncs every 10 minutes.
What's managed in both Re-Leased and Dynamics Business Central:
- Invoices (Sales Invoices and Purchase Invoices)
- Customers and Vendors (top level only)
- Payments
The items that can be managed in both Re-Leased and Dynamics Business Central are passed between Re-Leased and Dynamics Business Central as part of our syncing process. Re-Leased is an invoice-based system, transactions processed using 'spend money' or 'receive money' (journals) in Dynamics Business Central are not shared between Re-Leased and Dynamics Business Central.
What's managed in Dynamics Business Central only:
- Chart of Accounts/Items
- Tax Codes/Tax Rates
- Dimensions
- Sales Credit Memos/Purchase Credit Memos
Once you are integrated with Dynamics Business Central, the items that are managed in Dynamics Business Central are no longer managed in Re-Leased.
Please note: there is a 1:1 connection between each Re-Leased company and the corresponding Dynamics Business Central company. Once a Re-Leased company has been connected to a Dynamics Business Central company, it cannot be re-connected to any other Dynamics Business Central company.
There are several pieces of information that are synced between Dynamics Business Central and Re-Leased, and the sync direction is dependent on the type of information being passed.
Tax Code/Tax Rate
You will no longer be able to manage your Tax Code/Tax Rate in Re-Leased. The sync is only one-way, from Dynamics Business Central to Re-Leased.
Chart of Accounts
You will no longer be able to manage your Chart of Accounts in Re-Leased. The sync is only one-way, from Dynamics Business Central to Re-Leased.
Dimensions
Dimensions are managed in Dynamics Business Central. The sync is only one-way, from Dynamics Business Central to Re-Leased.
Customers/Vendors
Customers/Vendors (top level only) can be created in both Re-Leased and Dynamics Business Central; any new records will be synced between both systems. Contacts can only be archived and edited in Dynamics Business Central.
Sales/Purchase Invoices and Sales/Purchase Credit Memos
Invoices and credit memos can be created in both Re-Leased and Dynamics Business Central, and they will be synced with each other.
Only 'Approved' invoice from Re-Leased will sync to Dynamics Business Central. Invoices in Re-Leased that are 'Awaiting Approval' or 'Draft' will not be synced.
Voiding an invoice can only be done in Dynamics Business Central and it will be synced back to Re-Leased.
Payments
Payments on invoices and credit memos can be added in both Re-Leased and Dynamics Business Central, and they will be synced with each other.
