New Users automatically have access to the company they have been loaded against. There are two ways to grant a User access to more companies:
1. Adding a Company or Companies to a User, or
2. Adding a User or Users to a Company
Adding a Company or Companies to a User
Watch the GIF here, or see below for detailed steps.
Navigate to the list of Users by clicking Users on the main Settings page:
Click the name of the User you wish to add Company access to:
Click the Companies tab in the user profile:
Click the Companies without access sub menu on the left hand side:
Use the checkboxes to select which Companies you'd like to give the User access to, then click the Confirm button at the bottom of the screen.
Note: you can only select Companies you have access to yourself - any Companies you don't have access to will appear as greyed out in this list.
A pop up confirmation box will appear - click Confirm here, and the page will then reload on the Companies with access sub-menu, reflecting the new access just granted.
Adding a User or Users to a Company
To give access to more companies, or to restrict access at a later time, open the company by selecting Settings from the green main menu, then Manage Companies.
Select the relevant company.
Scroll down to Security and search to add Authorised Users who can access that company with their login.
Alternatively, to remove a user select the 'x' next to their name.
Select Save to secure any changes made.
Change log of changes in access to a Company
To view a log of Users being added to/removed from a Company, navigate to Settings > Manage Companies > Select Company > Security, and click the button labelled View Changelog.
