To ensure your Suppliers or Contractors are up date with their Public Liability cover, or any other relevant insurance policies, you can track these policies in Re-Leased.
Navigate to the Supplier Contact record in Re-Leased, and click on the Insurance tab on the left hand menu. Click Add Insurance to create a new policy record.
Please note: The red dot next to the "Insurance" tab heading is a visual indicator that there is an Expired policy for this Contact. This dot will show as orange if there are any Expiring Soon policies (but no Expired policies).
Enter the relevant details for the supplier's insurance policy in the following screen. You can attach a policy document under Documents. Once attached, hovering over the document name will give options such as Edit (to rename the file), Delete, and Download. Clicking on the file name will open a preview of the document on screen.
Under Assign to, select the Re-Leased user that should get the reminder about this policy expiry date.
By default, reminders will be created 30 days prior to the policy expiry date; however this can be customised by clicking the Set custom reminder checkbox.
Click Save when you have finished entering the policy details.
The policy will now appear in the list of insurance policies for that Contact. To learn about managing or editing the policy after creation, click here.
The Insurance policy expiry date will also create a reminder on the Dashboard for the assigned user. These will appear in a purple tile colour as below:
Clicking on the reminder will bring up more details of the insurance policy, and allows you to
1. Mark the reminder as complete
2. Go directly to the Insurance policy record to edit it
3. Go directly to the Contact record
4. Add a Note to the policy
5. Send a reminder email to the Contact (click here for more details on reminder emails)
